Fishing the St. Joe

Pete and I spent Sunday fishing up on the St. Joe river. Well, he fished and I thoroughly enjoyed sitting on a rock by a gorgeous river. This weekend, we're off on a three-night overnight in the Cabinet Mountains, hiking in and setting up camp at Trout Lake. Sounds promising for fishing, no?

Fish on!

Remains from the crazy huge fire that burned 3 million acres in 1910. If you haven't read the book The Big Burn, I totally recommend it.

Our Garden

In an EXTREMELY exciting post, here are photos of our garden! Ok, but seriously, we're having a ball planting, weeding, and watching it all grow. Turns out I might just have a bit of a green thumb! Mostly dirty nails, but whatever. Same thing, right?
